Quickflix partners with AAPT for fast content delivery

Quickflix Limited (ASX: QFX), Australia and New Zealand’s leading movie streaming company, today announced that it had entered into a multi-year cloud, CDN and network partnership with AAPT.

AAPT’s Extreme Performance network will enable Quickflix to efficiently scale its movie and TV streaming to serve millions of customers in Australia and New Zealand. Providing computer and service infrastructure, cloud-based content and delivery across both territories and telecommunications services the partnership provides operating costs savings and scale advantages for Quickflix.

The Extreme Performance network is part of AAPT Media’s Connect, Transfer and Store strategy which enables leading local and international content providers and broadcasters, to access new markets as the global media landscape changes to digital content delivery.

AAPT’s CEO David Yuile said Quickflix represented the new breed of high growth digital media and entertainment players seeking rapid delivery of streaming content across AAPT’s Extreme Performance national network.
